Job Description: Product Developers at INGEN BIO integrate military insights with technical insights and are intimately involved in all phases of the product life cycle. They provide a stream of innovations, improvements and product improvements that are consumer preferred and which sets INGEN BIO in a proactive, market leadership role.

As an entry level product developer at INGEN BIO you will learn to integrate military observations, consumer and technology trends and interpret unmet defense needs. Working as part of a team, you will help translate those into product end benefits, features, and design.

Product Developers and must have excellent listening and interpersonal skills in dealing with consumers and other teams at INGEN BIO.

Our product development teams have accountability to:
• Translate consumer insights into new product ideas/concepts
• Develop product idea specifications
• Translate those product ideas and specifications into product prototypes
• Evaluate and analyze prototypes
• Collaborate with the technical teams to develop commercially feasible products
• Ensure product features/forms meet user needs
• Support team assessments of potential market and partnership opportunities

Qualifications: A BS/MS or BA/MA in an applicable field, including but not limited to Bio Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
Research and development co-op/intern or other experience is highly desirable.

Product Development candidates possess these qualifications:
• A 3.9/4.0 grade point average is required;
• High Level of Initiative and a Global business perspective
• Ability to provide innovative contributions in a TEAM Environment
• Effective Communication Skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
• The ability to adapt to rapidly changing infection protocols and assignments.
• Application/Results orientation with primary focus on problem definition and generation of alternative solutions

Relevant Experience: 0-2 years Minimum
Education: Bachelors
Travel Expectations: 0% In addition to hands-on work experience, co-op and intern students are introduced to team-based learning, exposed to a corporate atmosphere, given practical applications in their fields and introduced to a wide variety of business arenas.

If you join us as a co-op student working multiple terms, you'll be expected to maintain the minimum GPA for your field, and provide updated academic transcripts at the beginning of your work terms. As with all employees, you'll work in a spirit of cooperative teamwork and trust, where your skills and contributions, not status and titles, are valued. Finally, because we are genuinely interested in how beneficial our co-op/intern programs are to both you and INGEN BIO, there's a strong possibility that you'll be asked to present your project at the term's end. This is a great way for you to network with key people in your technical field and demonstrate your professionalism.
